Eros Čakić, born in Pula in 1960, is a versatile artist known for his work in sculpture, painting, graphics, and scenography. He has an extensive exhibition history with over 200 collective and 30 solo exhibitions held in various locations worldwide. Čakić has also contributed to public art, creating sculptures and receiving numerous awards for his work. Additionally, he is employed as an advisor for art and gallery activities at Pula City Hall and serves as the President of the CRUX Society.
Digital graphics
The artworks are an elaboration of the idea of a modern interpretation of antique motives in the technique of digital image graphics.
The images are not dominant in the space but enhance it visually and convey the atmosphere of ancient motifs in a contemporary context, with formats and colours adapted to the interior and conceptually matched to the space.
The guest perceives them as visually calming. At the same time, the overall impression is a part of the hotel story that thematises antiquity as the cultural starting point of our homeland.
